Welcome to Regional FabX event!

This is a nonprofit event, parallel to Fab26 in Boston. The dates are July 27–31, 2026, and it will be held in and around Fablab Bottrop. The event is organised for and by volunteers from the worldwide Fabacademy / Fablab community. Knowledge sharing, technological advancement, experimentation, connecting with your Fablab peers, forging friendships and hacking (everything from computers to food) are at the core of this event.

We are still at the very beginning (we are going for it), but we still need to give everything shape. For instance, we would like to know who is interested in contributing to the event. This could be in the form of workshops, lectures, or contributions from your own (joint) projects, but certainly also things like cooking, washing dishes, and cleaning. As mentioned: it is an event for and by ourselves, so participation is required to make it an unforgettable event.
